Risks of using two different passports at a land border?
Hi, we're in need of visas for two different West African countries. We have 2 valid passports. Since time is limited, to speed up processing times, we're thinking of sending one passport to one country's embassy and the second passport to the other country's embassy.
Of course, any entry and exit into one country will be on one passport -- the same passport as the one for which the visa was granted. Is there anything that could go wrong at land borders if you depart country X on passport 1 and enter country Y on passport 2? |
Should be ok. They may ask to see the exit stamp of the other country - just show the other passport then.

Duplicate passports are well understood in W Africa so there should be no issue that can't be solved in the 'usual way' ^ when crossing a land border. PM me if you want more advice

Ive done it in Singapore. They asked for the other passport just to see too.

Are these two passports from the same country or do you have dual citizenship?
