Nice beach destinations not difficult to get to?

I like the Maldives and Fiji, but they're both too difficult to get to, not to mention there is little else to do besides hanging out on the beach. What are some destinations with nice beaches, non-water activities and have big airports nearby? I have been to Bali and liked it a lot, but wasn't sure where the nicest/quietest part is supposed to be. I usually do my vacations in the spring and fall, so it would likely have to be somewhere that's hot all year round. Thanks!

What's your location?

That was my first thought but assuming travel is not an issue (i.e. the departure location is not a factor) might be an interesting discussion as I've been looking for alternatives as well.

I'm partial to Jumeirah Beach which is about a 45 min taxi ride from DXB. Plenty of hotels/shops/restaurants in the area, water sports, Sky Dive Dubai etc. Dubai also has a lot of tourist attractions, malls, indoor skiing, the desert, etc.

There are definitely nicer beaches in the world but the combination of airport + other things to do is hard to match. It's just getting a bit crowded these days.

Right... NYC here.

San Diego. May not seem as exotic as Bali but great beaches, nice city and lots to do within an hours drive.

Tough to beat a nonstop flight to Hawaii. Urban feel in HNL and then a more relaxed time on the outer islands. Hawaii is still my favorite beach destination and I live in Asia with easy access to all the famous Asian beaches...Hawaii still tops them.

Sydney. Change once on the U.S. west coast, direct train from SYD airport to Circular Quay, ferry from there to Bondi or whichever other beach suits your fancy. May take a while, but couldn't be easier. Weather-wise, late fall and early spring in the U.S. should be perfect.

bali quiet - Manggis, Tanah Lot
re dubai, plus oman and UAE
re bermuda, IIRC it is not like rest of caribbean, and peak is summer, not OP's spring/fall/etc

Bermuda. Super easy to get to from NYC. Not even that far.

Good ol' Jones Beach!

Puerto Vallarta. Great city, lots to do, and easy to get to. Stay in town, not out at the sterile "Nuevo Vallarta" where you're stuck miles from the action.

Many places in Hawaii. Oahu, Maui, Big Island, Kauai, Molokai are all fun places.

Honolulu.

From NYC, my choice for beaches would be the BVI, U.S. Virgin Islands, or St Maarten

Forgot to mention, I'd prefer to travel to Zika-free places for now. Looks like Hawaii got lots of recommendations. Kage recommended about half the countries in SE Asia, wouldn't be a bad idea to visit Bali again though.
