Countries sharing currency union

I was trying to think of countries with separate political governments sharing a common currency.

So for starters the obvious one is the Euro zone. Others I can think of are San Marino, Monaco, Vatican City and Andorra also using the Euro.

Liechtenstein is in currency union with Switzerland.

Macau dollar is pegged to the Hong Kong dollar.

Various British dependencies use Pound Sterling (e.g. Gibraltar, Falkland Islands, Channel Islands).

Turkish Lira is used in TRNC (North Cyprus).

Any others?

XPF in the South Pacific
CFA Franc in many African countries (pegged to EUR)
Montenegro and Kosovo also use EUR

From my experience the US dollar can be used in Cambodia for most purchases although most people carry some Riel for smaller ones.

The Bahamian and Bermudian dollars are 1:1 pegged to the USD and American dollar coins and bills circulate freely there. I think Panama and Ecuador are effectively US dollar economies too.

The Belize dollar (BZD) is pegged to the USD at 1BZD=0.50USD.

Namibia pegs its dollar 1-1 to the South African rand. The rand is legal tender in Namibia.

The US dollar is the currency of Turks and Caicos. FWIW, the Canadian dollar works pretty well too.

Panama uses the US dollar for bills. They print their own coins, which are sized exactly like US coins, except have different things printed on them.

The US dollar is also used in Marshall Islands, Palau, and Micronesia.

I may get some push back on this but US dollars are almost universally accepted in Canada, albeit at an exchange rate ranging from great to awful.
US coins are accepted everywhere at par, (pennies not included.)
Except for some border towns the reverse is seldom true.

US dollar is legal tender in Ecuador.

Things must have changed since I lived in T.O. I wouldn't have dreamed of offering US currency there. Nearer the border, US currency was pretty freely accepted though with an unfavorable exchange rate. Coins smaller than a dollar flow freely on both sides of the border.

When I moved to Canada, the Canadian dollar climbed rapidly until it was well above par -- maybe US$1.15 or so. It was infuriating that stores on the US side of the border still paid less than US$1.00 for them. The election of René Lévesque took care of my personal exchange-rate problem. :)

My experience was that there was a region on both sides of the border where stores would accept either currency, but it was much wider on the Canadian side.

There are two common currencies like this in Africa and they are pegged to the same exchange rate but are used in different countries.

The West African CFA franc (XOF) is the currency of eight independent states spanning over 3,500,000 km2 in West Africa: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Sénégal and Togo.

The Central African CFA (XAF) is the currency in Cameroon (CM, CMR), Central African Republic (CF, CAF), Chad (TD, TCD), Congo (CG, COG), Equatorial Guinea (GQ, GNQ), and Gabon (GA, GAB).
