AC does not guarantee you a meal period for LMUs. SPMLs have to be ordered T-18.
AC often forgets to load a special meal even when ordered at T-6 months. I have never not had food in AC Exec First tho, they always find me something (as in the times when they didn't load the specific meal, especially the times I pick the Hindu veggie cause I like curry, but I was happy to eat the salad, cheese, veggie pasta, pudding, etc. instead)

I would share your opinion. For the last year (as in Jan 2015 to 2016, I've only had 1 SPML fail to load (out of say..70?) So they are improving
