Luggage Transfer
Hello, I have a query about luggage transfer,
I got a really good deal on some flights from Dublin To Hong Kong Via London, on the return flight, we depart Hong Kong for London Heathrow, and then we fly from London Gatwick to Dublin, i would like to skip the last flight and stay in London, and am wondering if my bags will be transferred by Virgin Atlantic to Gatwick, or will i collect my bags at heathrow and make my own way to gatwick? the Gatwick to Dublin flight is operated by Aer Lingus, Any help would be very much appreciated Many Thanks |

On connections involving co-terminals (such as LHR/LGW, JFK/LGA, LAX/SNA, etc.) the passenger is responsible for getting his bags from the arrival airport to the departure airport. |
Which is why the LGW flight is such a godsend to those of us saving a fortune on ex-DUB itineraries. So much easier to drop the last leg!
