Had to wait over an hour for my bags on a DFW to TUL flight the other night--thus the wait for bags was longer than the actual flight. The excuse was that one of the bag handlers had gone home sick, and the guy who was supposed to fill in for him didn't know he was supposed to fill in. I know stuff happens, but really?

I have to say that my all time worst experiences have been at Barcelona.
At one point I was commuting down there twice a month and could really have done with a checked bagful of clean clothes, but after waiting more that 45 minutes on 2 separate occasions - 45 minutes ! - for bags from a small SH jet, I gave up and slummed it HBO...
