This is the first one that popped into my head upon reading the thread title.

I flew this a few (well, several years ago, when TATL J milesAAvers were still relatively easy to come by). DFW-RDU-LHR, my seatmate worked for Glaxo, he told me he flew the route every other week or so, and that probably 90% of the J cabin were his coworkers.

Aha, thanks. I assume there are not a lot of commercial flights from there.

Cheers,

A couple former routes were due to state governments: SMF-IAD and CGX-SPI, both on UA. There was also a prison run in California, think it went SMF-ACV-CEC.

NCL-BRU was a P&G-filled flight back in the day - as was LGW-CVG.

EIN seems to be single-handedly kept alive by Philips.

XNA is the commercial airport whose routes are largely supported by Wal-Mart and their associated vendors.

Wal-Mart flies all of their private aircraft out of ROG, Rogers Municipal airport, through Wal-Mart's wholly owned Beaver Lake Aviation.

I've flown out of that airport private for my company a number of times.

Tyson has their private planes held at XNA.

I've seen LAX-MCO referred to as the Disney Express, with a supposed more-than-typical allocation of mainline and two-aisle planes to accommodate Disney execs in F.

Per one of the Delta discussion threads, I want to say it's something about proving cargo for Air France's operations. Plane parts?
Correct.

Was there ever an NGO-LAX flight to support Toyota (when their North American HQ was in Torrance)? I don't recall in the past 18 years I've been in LA.

The "Motorola Express" routes of ORD-PHX, ORD-AUS, and AUS-PHX used to be so thick with Motorolans that you could have had legitimate meetings en route in the 90s.

Nowadays there's (almost) only leisure pax flying Wizz Air, Ryanair and Transavia at EIN.
Philips uses Schiphol and the connections KL has on offer there only 1.5 hour away.
