There's more Delta terminology about to be defunct soon. Business Elite and Economy Comfort are disappearing (along with my loyalty to DL, but that's a different topic...).

USAir BusinessSelect (affectionately referred to in its brief lifespan as BusinessReject).

I guess we can add in USAir, and soon, USAirways.

"Shuttle" and "Ted" are right up there among relatively recent defunct branding efforts by United Airlines.

I see your “Ted” and raise you a “song” from Delta Air Lines.

Terms that are not yet defunct but are on the "endangered" list:

On time.
Customer satisfaction.
Seat comfort.
Leg room.
Elite benefits.

Prior to song there was Delta Express. Continental Lite, too. United had a west coast Shuttle product which no longer exists.

And to that list, I'll add loyalty.

Eastern's "Whisperjet" - not if you happened to be boarding from an adjacent outdoor gate, it wasn't.

AA's "Woolly Buffalo" 767 seats - "Relax into the warm comfort of the Woolly Buffalo on your way home from Paris." (OK, not really.)

Was it Delta that had those "bistro bags" years ago? If memory serves they were in a portable cooler/chest and you would grab it as you headed down the jetway.

Was it Delta?
