I'd go with PDX over PWM - on a clear day, the views of Mt Hood are truly incredible (sit on the left side of the plane for an East-West approach). Sometimes I feel like we get close enough that if there were climbers on top, I'd be able to see them.

ATL - Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport
On approach to the spaceport...
I'm pretty sure I was on the right (facing forward) side of the plane.

NYC - New York City, NY
These are from my SAN-JFK flight in May 2014 - on the left side of the plane (facing forward).
September 2013 - LHR-JFK (right side)
November 2013 - JFK-LAX (right side)

Why do you keep cutting Canarsie out of your photographs of New York City?
It would be located just past the right edge of your first photograph along the bay but not on the ocean.
You got just about every other neighborhood in Brooklyn in your photographs.
I am so insulted...

SFO on the left ( northerly approach) gives wonderful views of GG Bridge and the city. The standars LHR approach on the right has the entire city beneath you, with a panoramic turn if approaching from the Ockham stack.
Plus Innsbruck with the Alps and the tight valley. Even better on take off because of the tight 180 within the narrow valley.

MFN (Milford Sound) was pretty darn nice. No Delta
ZQN is more accessible (and you're in bigger aircraft) but still flying between mountains. I especially like the loop around the Arrowtown basin on landing (and loop around Peninsula Hill on takeoff).

I was quite taken with VCE - it's fun coming over the lagoon and seeing all the boat traffic. Plus the islands are fascinating.
I have to agree with the LHR love, though I gave myself a very sore neck craning over from the middle seat to see out of the window when a plane did about 10 circuits of central London one night (yes I did know the person in the window seat).

Similarly, I always enjoy the approach into DCA from the north, but it's best from the left hand side of the plane.
