which cities/states/countries do not allow turning right on a red light?

which cities/states/countries do not allow turning right on a red light? (even when there is no "No turn on red" signs)

This is one of the most confusing rules that I encounter when I travel. It varies from country to country, state to state(?), and sometimes even different cities in the same state/province have different rules...

In the island of Montreal , one is not allowed to turn right on red. But one can do so if he/she is outside of the island.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry: BlackBerry8530/5.0.0.1030 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/417)

New York City. There are signs posted at the principal highway entrances to the city advising motorists of this, since "right on red" is permitted elsewhere in New York State.

I was thinking of left turn on red onto a one way street. Never mind.

AAA used to print this on their maps and guides- In the US it's only NYC unless something has changed.
