Planning a vacation without specific destination
 

I am switching jobs and will have a little time off in between. I want to go somewhere, but the where isn't really important. Are there any websites where you can put in your dates and price range and it will match you with flights or vacation packages here in the US?

If you mean international destinations (not sure from your message if you meant US destinations or US websites), you can put your dates into Skyscanner and choose 'Everywhere' as the destination and it will give you a list of what's available for what price. Only really works well if your point of departure is a major hub.
