Bedspreads aka bed covers
 

How many properties still use bedspreads? They used to be very common, heavy and I suspect seldom dry-cleaned and hence I hated them at hotels (fine at home). How often do you find them these days? Do you prefer to have them or not?

I never sit on those things, I think they're just nasty. Whenever I enter a room, I delicately pull them back and then immediately wash my hands.

Yes, me too. So I hide them in the closet or something, with cushions adorning the bed, put a note for housekeeping not to return them to the bed.
