lounge shower question

Hello

I am flying ord-dus-LHR in business on LH. I have a few hour layover at dus and was wondering what lounge I can access and shower at? I'm also star gold.

On the return I'm flying AC in business on the return lhr-yqb-ord. What lounge at heathrow would I be able to access showers at?

Thanks!

Are you sure you are transiting via YQB? Air Canada mainline doesn't even fly there, let alone from Heathrow!

By the way, I have found a new free app for iphone called loungebuddy that is really good for figuring this out, based not only on your actual airline and class of flight but also all your credit cards and club memberships. (This is not an advertisement, I just found it real useful and wanted to pass on the tip.)

Do people carry on with an extra change of clothes just to take a shower when they arrive? Or do they just change underwear?

Depending on where I am going and for how long I will carry a complete change of clothing with me but normally I'll carry a shirt and underwear in my carry-on to be fresh when I arrive.

Underwear, socks, shirt. Always with me on any long haul flight.

Using my last international trip as an example, I brought scrub bottoms to change into on my long-haul/lie-flat flight segments, and had two changes of shirt/underwear to use after my two showers along the way (after each leg).

My international trips can be a 24-hour travel experience, with two multiple-hour connections. The best use of the transit time is to clean up. The shirts/underwear take minimal space in my carryon.
