Begging for cell phone charger

How would you feel if a fellow passenger went up and down the aisle asking if you would loan another passenger your charger? Would you be more willing to loan it the the FA, or the passenger asking?

I would offer to charge their phone at my seat. They will come back for phone and I don't have to search plane for charger.

I have 4 in bag (I'm always forgetting to bring one, so I had to re-buy). $20 and you can have one.

I'd lend my charger to a passenger who asked. No problem.

I have in the past. I was on a flight once with empower outlets and a guy really needed to charge his laptop. As I had a full charge, I was more than happy to lend him my adapter for an hour or so.

Seems simple. Somebody asks, you have one, you loan it. Not the kind of item most people steal. Someday when things go wrong for you, you will appreciate the fact that someone loans you one.

It's the small things....

If I have one and don't need it, I would not hesitate to lend it to someone.

I'd loan it too; it's a $10 piece so I wouldn't really be overly cautious.

If I am not using it myself, I would loan it and make sure to ask which seat they are in. If there's less than 30 min to go before landing and they haven't returned it, I would ask for it back because the last thing I want is to be on a trip and have to search for a replacement charger.

I don't understand this comment - how does a charger have anything to do with proprietary data?

It allows manipulating with your cable, e.g. attaching things like cottonmouth to your device.

Ok, I didn't know that - you learn something every day! Fortunately, the best they could hope to get from my phone is quite how much I play silly jewel games!

I've charged many peoples phones over the years. Mine lasts all day. The problem is, that most people have their noses in the phone 24/7. Put the d*** thing down for a while, and pay attention to other things, and it will have a charge when you need it.
