I guess I am staying in the wrong hotels. : ) My biggest problem is either someone blasting the TV, or a couple in an argument. Can't say I have ever had the moaning woman problem. Well, not THAT kind of moaning and not in another room.

It's even worst when you have a connecting room next door and thin wall/partition :D
Gone to sleep in the late evening and all was quiet, then woke up around 6 AM - apparently, next door neighbors decided to play in their bed with all the ooo's and arrrhhh's & OMG's, having "fun" in the morning instead. Mrs. L is a light sleeper and looked at me ... well. We turned our pillows 180 and flip the comforter/sheets around, went back to sleep with our toes pointing toward the headboard/wall instead. Managed to get back to sleep as it's the weekend & we loved to stay in a bit longer, too early for breakfast. It eventually got quiet as they're apparently "exhausted" & done with. Tip - if your side of the usually doubled lock connecting door can be opened, use the spare cotton blanket that's usually in the closet or use the spare one from the sofabed (if there is one) and try to wrap it around the door frame, top to bottom & swing open side - then close & lock it, plus stuffing the towel on the floor. |
