Cancun - Cozumel on AeroCaraibes DC-9
Abu Dhabi - Dubai on a Gulf Air A320 (not part of a through flight - the return was a Gulf Air bus)
Taipei Taoyuan - Kinmen on a Uni-Air ATR-72
Dhahran-Bahrain on a Kuwait Airways B707 - perhaps not too obscure
And I noticed earlier on in this thread someone had done Haneda to Hachijojima. Snap!! Did this just to fly on an All Nippon (Air Japan) Nihon YS-11. A year later it was 'upgraded' to a 737-200 - I was very disappointed, but glad to have done it once on the prop plane.
Have done Kinmen to Taipei Songshan on Uni Air ATR72 (can't remember whether -600),.

Was that flight really from Taipei Taoyuan? When was this?

Have booked for next week:
- China Express Airlines CKG Chongqing to Guilin KWL
- Also MH KUL-CKG is a new route (?), so perhaps not many folks have taken it yet?

Quite right Nanyang, it was Songshan. I recall looking at the grounded ATR's from TransAsia at the time and also wondering if I could get on one of the FAT MD-80s on the way back - schedule forced me to get another Uni-Air ATR back as I just missed the A321. I confused it with my TSA-KHH flight on Mandarin/CI 737.

Likely 600, did MZG-KHH on B-17009 (ATR72-600 from Uni) last year.

Makes sense. Managed to fly on one of those MD-80s on the way out to Kinmen.

Thinking of other domestic flights I have taken in Taiwan:
GE (TransAsia) TSA-HUN
AE (Mandarin) RMQ-MZG
DA (Daily Air) MZG-CMJ
DA (Daily Air) CMJ-KHH

I think you're right. Assuming I know how to check this info, Uni Air's ATR fleet consisted of 9 X -600 already as of mid-2014. Currently they have 15 x ATR72-600.

Just curious - why did you choose to fly instead of taking the train / bus / car?

I remember taking a morning flight from Taipei with a Taiwanese friend of mine. We did some sightseeing, and returned by train + bus later the same day.

a) TSA to HUN is just a funny couple (Huns are coming, US-TSA..)
b) frequent flyers fly ;-) ("I did it for THIS thread on FT!")
c) was an organized trip to a long day in Taruku gorge and timing would not allow to take train/car back to Taipeh.

After TSA-MZG-KHH, I took the TRA train to Tainan and after a couple days there the HSR to TPE.

Don't think a scheduled NZ flight between two standard NZ destinations will ever qualify as a route that no FTer has ever flown before.

Keeping with the domestic Taiwan theme I flew HUN-KHH on AE last week. Fun, quick little flight.

The other one I've flown that I didn't see anywhere on here is DEN-PVU on F9 pretty soon after they started the (since discontinued) route in about 2011 (2010?).
