Baggage Routing
I have a rather circuitous route involving UA, NH, TG, SQ & NZ to New Zealand. Will my bag follow me or will it take the shortest route, especially if I have a little bit of backtracking?

Bags normally follow you on the same planes, but in the event of irrops if you make a flight and your bag doesn't, your bags will be sent to your next stopover point by whatever means.

If a plane is a bit delayed when you come into the US and you can either wait for your bag to recheck and miss your connection or make the connection, what's the correct option?

Wait. It's an offence not to and a FlyerTalker recently discovered this the hard way, ending up with his Global Entry revoked. Can't find the thread though.
