Looks like the headrest touch her legs, I would of of rock the headrest back and forth hard. I'm sure her medical condition will magically healed. Also if she have no shame sitting like that, I would of snap a few pics with her face sitting in that position and post it all over the interweb. With the way viral pics and videos these days, it could get back to her friends and family real fast.

I'd be sorely tempted to tell her that her medical condition was going to include broken toes... Ok, I wouldn't say it out loud, but I'd want to. I would for SURE be bouncing my chair, saying that's how I get comfort.

More Images !!!
Here are a couple of more pics, with shoes on and off, as it happened during the entire flight.

You really should have offered to email her the pics so she could put them in her travel scrapbook.

"ain't no cure for stupid!"
|
So inconsiderate!
|
Had I been in the OP's position, I would have requested intervention from the Captain since the flight attendants were unsuccessful in getting this woman from keeping her feet off his headrest.
|
I would have taken photos of her - face in photo - and announce you are going to post this onTwitter/Facebook/etc. If public humiliation doesn't work - then hold down the recline button and rock the seat back and forward like you are rocking on the porch.
If she complains tell her you have OCD ADD - you are constantly changing the things you obsess about. |
I don't think she is short according to the posted pics. I am somewhat short. If I was in her position, my feet would land on the middle seat.
You could have do one thing to rub in her face. Upon the parking of the landed flight, you ascend to the walkway before her and reach for your suitcase slowly. Just take your sweet time to walk exit slowly. Oh.. you need to tie your shoes so you stopped.... you get the picture. :) |
The FA's were not able to do anything. This is quite sad. What that woman was doing is unacceptable. I hope you forward these photos to someone that can teach the FA's how to properly deal with a "customer" like this. Why is it ok for her to do that and you, another paying customers have to be put in a situation like that?
BTW, I am one of those people that cannot stand when people put their feet(socked or otherwise) on the bulkhead. |
In those situations it's hard not to be doubly enraged that it's such a juvenile situation.
Thanks, I feel like an 8 year old in the family car; we're driving to relatives for Thanksgiving and I'm tattling to mom that sis won't leave me alone.

So inconsiderate and I'm prone to believe the FA's either didn't know how to handle it or didn't want to.
|
The FA should have politely explained that the HEADREST was for the PASSENGER PAYING FOR THAT SEAT and that she had NO RIGHT TO impinge on that seat unless she planned on paying for it. A HEADREST is not a FOOTREST for the passenger behind. Sheesh. how simple could that be?
|
Sorry... had that happen to me recently and I guess I needed to vent. : /
|
What is wrong with people? As if putting one's feet up like that is acceptable behavior anywhere besides her house. Sheesh.
