Firefox airport code add on

When I look at these forums, people often use 3-letter airport codes that are unfamiliar to me. Is there a firefox add-on that will allow me to see the full names of these airports?

There is a link in the footer of the page for airport code lookup if that helps for those not using firefox.

For those using firefox, see this thread

Err, why would it not be just as easy to go to your web browser's search box and just key "airport code" MSY, LGW, PWM or whatever code you're searching?

No, hovering over letters on the screen is much easier than what you describe.

None of the links in that old thread lead to an add-on, at least for me. Most get 404 errors.

Point to "HELP" at the top of the FT page. Click on "Airport Code Lookup", type in the code, click on "Submit"

I'm looking into this---I may have a solution

Yes, the comment from HIDDY in 2010 in the linked thread "All makes sense to me...Install Greasemonkey as a add-on to Firefox then install this script. I'm not just a pretty face you know." works.

Just to describe this step by step:
1. Install Firefox if you don't have it already.
2. Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir.../greasemonkey/ and install Greasemonkey. You will be prompted to restart Firefox.
3. After Firefox restarts, install this: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/7725

Then, when you hover the mouse over a 3-letter airport code in capitals, you will be able to see the full airport name. (It takes a couple of seconds to appear).

Using Greasemonkey and this script works for Firefox.
