Trans-Atlantic Luggage Question - Phx to Africa
I am flying USA to Liberia Africa by way of Belgium. Actual itinerary is PHX-Newark (United), Newark to Belgium (United), Belgium to Monrovia Liberia (Brussells Air). Booked it all with United mileage for $132.00 with your help!!!
At what point would I actually have to claim my luggage again? Will they check it straight through to Liberia or will I have to grab it in NJ or Belgium and recheck? Anyone have any idea?

You certainly won't have to claim it in EWR, if it's checked through to Monrovia. Whether you'll have to claim it and re-check it at BRU depends on what customs formalities (if any) the Belgians impose on in-transit passengers.
