Just thought to post this interesting piece of history.
A chance for the ones (like me) who didn't have the pleasure to be in that era, an opportunity to catch up with the memories for the ones who flew back then.

Does anyone know how much did cost F ticket, let's say JFK-LHR or equivalent TATL between 1968 and 1972 ?

This was nice...! Funny thought that (although it's been pointed out that the documentary was by BBC Two) a whole heap of the people on the documentary about an American airline were British... :-)

Rule of thumb is that prices today are 40% lower in real terms than they were just before deregulation in 1978.
