Codes? T, Y, huh?
-----
|
T is discount economy.
Y is full fare. |
[Moderator's conforming edit to delete since-deleted quote of another member.]
While Y is the fare bucket for full-fare coach, it is also used generically to mean all of coach. Sometimes boarding passes, emails, etc will show Y as the cabin but the actual fare class is something else. In your case I'm sure it is T as that's what you booked and the difference in price between Y and T would normally give you sticker shock. |
As this seems less of a MR query and more of a general travel question I'll move it to the TravelBuzz forum.
