How is this possible? (no overhead bin space)

I just boarded my Delta flight. I was the 3rd person in coach to board.
The overhead bins on both sides from 4 to 8 were full.
It's as if first class stored their items back here.

Good point....but don't they have their own closet?
And shouldn't they put their bags in the back since they are the last to leave the plane.

I have seen some bag(s) belonging to crew even in F. I understand, an FA may need some personal items mid flight as as passengers do, but inconveniecing passengers for their convenience is not a good thing to do.
