American Automobile Association; am in South FL;
need to get membership for me + 1 family member;
this is not renewal, haven't been member 3+ yrs;
any codes, tips, on getting lowest fee, extra months?
any bonus miles/points offers out there?

Some local clubs offer free merchandise such as a car flashlight.

Have you compared Plus versus other membership types?

AFAIK Plus offers more towing for longer distances? Am willing to pay bit more for that. Any reason not to? Am hoping someone points me to best code or offer.

It depends on your local club and what their benefits are, but besides the longer towing (for us basic membership gets you to the nearest AAA garage or 3 miles to any other location, plus gets us 100 miles), there are differences in some of the other benefits. Free passport photos, higher amount paid for a locksmith, free gas if you run out (regular members have to pay for the gas) etc.

Some clubs have a Premier level above plus with even higher benefits.
