Fidelity Cash Management Account

I'm seeing a 1% forex fee, but good tip anyway. With the dollar ATM reimbursement, the fees could work out cheaper.

1 All Fidelity ATM withdrawal fees will be waived for your Fidelity® Cash Management Account. In addition, your account will automatically be reimbursed for all ATM fees charged by other institutions while using a Fidelity® Visa® Gold Check Card linked to your account, at any ATM displaying the Visa®, Plus®, or Star® logos. ATM reimbursements will be credited to the account when the transaction posts. Please note, there is a foreign transaction fee of one percent that is not waived, which will be included in the amount charged to your account.

Schwab Bank is hands down the best. No forex fees. Not even the Visa interchange fee. No off network ATM fees. The reimburse any ATM fee charged by a foreign bank. Free on-line ACH transfers to and from your other bank accounts. Smartphone remote deposit app. Free checks. No minimum balance, no minimum opening deposit. No monthly fees. It couldn't be much better for foreign exchange.

Interesting thing about Schwab Bank is that they do not have it written anywhere that there are no foreign exchange fees charged on ATM withdrawals in foreign currencies.

Yep. Everybody says it's true, but when you call in and they check hard, the answer comes back that it's not printed because we don't charge the fee.

OK. But you don't charge ATM fees either and that's plaster everywhere.

Just saying.

For people with UK addresses there's also Norwich & Peterborough Building Society - they don't charge any fees or commission for purchases made in foreign currency or cash withdrawals abroad.

I was doing app online and got to step where they said they were going to do a credit pull. Went to Google it, and appears they do a hard pull (some said TWO, one for bank and one for brokerage acct associated). No thanks just to save a few dollars in ATM fees.

I use both Schwab and Capital One. For the reasons stated by others.

I did a lot of research on this earlier this year as I'm traveling internationally a lot this year and the Schwab card was the clear winner.
