Class Configurations

I am going to try to explain what I am asking the best I can...

When reading on flyertalk people use Y and other class distinctions, but what do those mean???

Spiff Apr 25, 2012 6:58 am

Y is pretty much universally economy class. If one purchases Y class, then it's full-fare economy. Other letters mean different classes of service, depending on the airline.

Please enjoy this thread in the TravelBuzz! forum.

many carriers now have preferred seats which are for sale to non elites, but no$ for elites....
