Pretty cool - interesting how off-line the plane lands.

Looks like a fairly common cross-winds landing.

That said, from that camera angle the whole thing looks like a toy.

And to the OP: It's a cheap thrill if you already happen to be there....if not, it's potentially a very expensive thrill!

Last week I had in a Thai A340 and a ANA 767. The ANA showed the approach above the scattered clouds from about 5000 feet up.

ANA 777 i watched the last hour of my flight comming into lax. I was disappointed when they turned it off 5min before touchdown.

I've seen this on the A320 as well.
Funny thing is, we were a bit too high (you could see the PAPI on the nose gear cam) because it was fairly windy, so I said to my sister (who was sitting next to me) that we were a bit too high. Instant panic from her, and me regretting I said that. we float over the threshold until we touch down at (what I'm guessing) is 1000ft past the TDZ markings and this was followed by reverse thrust and some very heavy braking and we ended up turning off of the runway at the last turn before the runway end. This was at BRU btw on runway 02 in case anyone was wondering.

Last month I traveled in Emirates Business class and experienced the nose camera view. Due to night it was very humid and not clearly visible, we did a smooth landing.

LX A340 a few months ago, but the picture quality wasn't that great. Could toggle between nose camera pointing forward and second camera pointing straight down, even in the middle of the flight.

I recall a few years ago excellent picture quality on a PR A320. The plane seemed brand new.

Austrian have nosecam and bellycam on at least some of their 767s, on from push-back to just after touchdown. Picture quality was awful, but it was still pretty cool.

Seems like I read that CX has them on some planes, believe I read the 777ER.

I'll report back when I fly on one later this year....

Etihad have a nose camera and undercarriage one too.

I figured that--but it's not something you realize unless you're in the cockpit (or maybe the very front rows of a 747.

AF also has them on the A380 (accessible at all levels of service on the AVOD system). Kind of amusing to play with.

Austrian have them mounted mounted on the nose landing gear of their A330s. An absolutely beautiful sight flying into Vienna early morning in December with the ground surrounding the runway covered in snow.
