We are a group of students from University of Bologna, Italy, now we are doing a research about travelling, and we wish we can hear the voices all over the world, so could you please just spend 2 minutes to answer our questions so as to help us to finish our research? We'd be very appreciated!

For the survey questions that have a rating system. Do you want us to look at them a 1 would be our main mode of transportation followed by 2-5 or another way?

I too am confused by the 1-5 scale on questions.
Also, when you ask for trip budget, please specify a currency and whether it is per day, per trip,
You might want to add a "none of the above" response to many of the questions. On several questions, I couldn't find a response that suited me. You might provide a space to answer in a few words. (For instance, "I travel to make new friends" or "to learn about modern, foreign cultures".)
