SuperShuttle Question
Hey all,
Not sure if this is the right forum to post it in, so please move if needed. I am in the process of booking a SuperShuttle for the first time, for a group of 10 to/from PIT. My main question is, is the capacity of the busses only 10 people? The reason I ask, is that the "Shared" (that says max of 10) is cheaper than "Exclusive". Would be nice to save some $$ while still not having to stop anywhere else. Thanks for any and all insight. :) |
Though it refers to IAD this thread might help:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/travelbuzz/332587-question-about-supershuttle-rates.html I do remember a sign inside one of the vans in SFO about max 3 or 4 stops. Only problem is waiting at the airport. They might not go unless they get a minimum number of passengers. In the case of SFO they might circle the terminals a few times. A taxi ride to downtown Pittsburgh is around $45. |
Oops. I re-read your posting. For a group of 10 I'm surprised the shared is cheaper than exclusive. I booked an exclusive van for 5 before and they gave me a good rate. I'd try to call them directly.

the ones i have used to/from dfw have more than 10 pax seats & i think we have been on one w/more than 10....
call & see if they will do a private run for 10.... |
Hey all! I work for SuperShuttle and wanted to clarify: Our vans vary in size, depending on city and service requested. Pittsburgh operations have access to a variety of vehicles. For the best deal for your small group, I would call 1-800-BLUE VAN directly. There may be additional options available that you have not yet considered.
