Sounds right....and back in the winter of 1976, DL used a DC-9-30 on the same route, although the flight originated at LGA on its way up to BOS via ORH and MAN.

So they simply changed the aircraft type (upgauged) for whatever reason.

Correct on the first 4.....
8. New York Air
11. Lufthansa
17. Northeastern International
30. Capitol Air

But 16....this was 1984. MetroJet did not start flying until 1998 and ValuJet/AirTran did not start flying until 1993.

No... TriStar did fly BAe-146 aircraft in that part of the country but they did not start flying until 1995 and their initial routes, I believe, were LAS to Grand Canyon, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
