Good guess, it is actually CZ's 777-200ER from CAN-LAX

These would have been the carry-over service started by CP (which AC acquired 20-22 years ago.

When would this have been? OZ had 763 ICN-YVR before the '97 financial crisis, and SQ certainly had 772s on the same route.

the 777 entered service in early 1995

Oct 1996 OAG shows Canadian with a 763 operating PEK-YVR

there’s no 777 service into LAX (and the only 767s from Asia are Air New Zealand via HNL); MU has a SHA-LAX MD-11

USM (probably already answered)
7. Which Asian Carrier(excluding Aeroflot) operated the Tu-114 first?
CA

I'm gonna give this a shot since I've been living in Asia for a long time.

Time for some new questions for travellers in Asia?

1. Which airline started flying twin-engine aircraft across the pacific, connecting Asia and NA?
CP from YVR. I took PEK YVR in 1988. My other guess would be JL.

2. Name all of the fifth-freedom services between HKG and BKK pre-pandemic?
Emirates, Royal Jordanian, Ethiopian
3. Why CA never ever flown between PEK and AMS?
CZ flies this, another flight I've taken which was absolutely horrible in 2007
4. How many variants of 777 did SQ operate? (Hint: Not SQ designated variant, but delivered variants )
3

5. Name the most popular airport in Thailand that TG(including WE) doesn't fly to?
Koh Samui Airport (USM) which is owned by Bangkok Airways

6. Which airline used to serve the worst champagne in first class on the A380(Hint: it's listed for 5 USD)
Gonna have to go with CZ on this since they are the only Chinese Airline flying the A380

7. Which Asian Carrier(excluding Aeroflot) operated the Tu-114 first?
Also a guess but I'm gonna say CAAC

8. Where did CX fly to SIN excluding HKG pre-pandemic?
BKK

9. List the first airline that offers a fully lie-fly seat and direct aisle in business class access between SIN and CAN?
A guess, Kenya Airways
10. The shortest first class service ex-SIN(including former routes)?

7. JAL, CAAC has only flown TU-104, never the Tu-114 as the Russian will not sell their latest bomber modified plane to a nation they almost had a full-scale war with
9. I think is WY, WY flew an A330 for 3 scheduled services (between 20 March and 25 March 2017) before it was cancelled(likely load factor related, as they got 20% for J, and less than 10% for Y the time I flown with them), and they charge 200SGD for RT in Y and 600SGD in J RT, which was crazily cheap as SQ charges 1800 SGD on their A330 Angle Flat while CZ charges 1200 SGD on their Assorted narrowbodies. Here are some photos I toke(Back then I am barely a Avgeek, so sorry for the horrible quality)

Some more fun?
11. Where did La Compagnie flies out of Paris, originally?
12. What are all of the nicknames of MU?
13. Which airport in Xinjiang,China gets widebodies seasonally during the summer, excluding URC
14. Name the registration of the four sh*t A330s that CA operates without lie-flat in J?
15.Which airline is home to the world's only premium economy with Lie-Flat seats on the 777-300ER, and proudly announced so?
16. What approach did LH take in F for the unrefurbished 744s, when half of the 744s with Fs are refurbished with the Half-Bed, Half-Seat layout?
17. Name the only possible routings for a flight(using a real aeroplane, not a helicopter) taking off HKG without entering CAAC's controlled aerospace?
18. CZ is definitely renowned worldwide for its signature Duc De Paris service in first class aboard the A380, what champagne do they serve now?
19. What are the routings for the maximum hours of flying you can get out of Alaska Mileage Plan with a 25K redemption in Business Class today? (Including routes that are possible today according to the award table, with award availability before the pandemic but no availability now due to the pandemic)
20. What was the best business class product between BKK and SIN once existed?

I'm going with Turpan, based simply on the fact that it is an awesome place. Kashgar would be my second choice, but almost everyone goes there via URC on 737s/A320s.

NZ

"Best" is obviously subjective, but I'm going with the obvious answer on this one: SQ (on their nicer airplanes), I believe EK flew that route at one point as a tag, but I don't think EK J is better (nor worse) than SQ J myself. CX falls into the same boat.

12. 木航(mu in pinyin, means wood airways) ,货航(Cargo airways, sarcasm for the lack of service, treating people like freights)

13. Kashgar just received 787 service this summer by CZ, flying from CAN with a stop in URC

15. TG once decided to market the 2nd cabin of their 77W business as premium economy with lie-flat seats https://www.thaiairways.com/en_DK/of...e_summer.page?

20. TG used to fly 744s to SIN, and they will sell the first class section as business class, to the extent that you can select the seats during booking.

Okay. Here's another tangential question:

Fifi was featured in an episode of which popular TV show?
