The fastest way to share breaking travel news seems to be on Twitter. It is also a great way to reach airlines, hotels, etc. @deltaassist has been wonderful. @garyleff is a great source of information. @StarwoodBuzz has helped me.

If you are on Twitter, follow me - @KyRoamer - as try to retweet as much travel info as i think of general interest including some flyertalk thread urls.

Right now I am working hard to get to Russia and back next July on miles. I have two seats locked in going over and needed some information from Delta about a return booking (not yet available). Hopefully my tweet will get me an answer.

I have a twitter app on my Blackberry and it works like a charm.

The 160 character limit adds to its charm. Long URLs only count as 19 characters. I may start using my personal webpage to convey added information.
