O.K. I am sure this will be real dumb but the sleep does not work on the T.V.

The alarm clock in my room goes off. Why should have to check to see if the clock is set. I don’t use them.

Not dumb at all...Im sorry I didnt think about that one before.

Also, I am getting too old to enjoy listening to the Sexual Olympics in the next room. Just stayed at Tampa airport and they went at it all night....Im jealous

Embassy Suites not giving their E Touch, and the front desk staff knowing nothing about it.

1. A hotel that doesn't heat or cool the hallways - especially one at the level of a Hilton.
2. A hotel at the level of a Hilton 'fixes' the air conditioning controls so that you can't turn the dial past 7 for cooler air (it goes up to 10 - I guess this is their response to not charging an energy surcharge).
3. A front desk SUPERVISOR that doesn't know how to put in your rental car information, or anything else that has to do with your program profile.
4. A hotel at the level of a Hilton or Doubletree that has stains on the carpet, wallpaper peeling off, holes in the sheets, no fitted sheet on the mattress or burn holes in the blankets.
5. Dirty shower curtains that blow in on you (at any hotel level!).
6. Hotels that want you to stay at their chain, promise you certain amenities when you reach certain levels, then having to fight for those amenities that are supposed to just be offered to you.

How about a mirror placed opposite the toilet? I've heard of being vain, but ...

I won't rehash any pet peeves already mentioned. Here's a few new ones.

1. The alarm clock on top of the TV (all the way across the room).

2. A desk with no phone jack close to it. (Have to run the line across the width of the room).

That's all I can think of for now.

All of the AC talk got me thinking of another of my pet peeves, Housekeeping cranking the AC all the way down when they clean. When you come back to the room later that evening its like an ice box.
