Yet we still have AF447.

I love how on threads like this the armchair aerospace engineer in all of us comes out and grand pronouncements on cataclysmic design flaws are exposed, as though the multi-billions invested by Boeing and Airbus were wasted.

Yes, but inaccurate pitot/static information is not specific to Airbus- see Birgenair/Aeroperu 757 accidents.

Yes but not about comforts. I know comforts is First class every time. This about safety. Which is the safety?

Computers flying is like Terminator "HELLO PILOT I CORRECT - YOU WRONG", but Pilot flying is like human in control all the time.

Pitot on AF 447 have burrs inside. Burrs get ice. Ice cause computers crash. No throttle see from pilot at zero on Airbus. See? Throttle look 100%. No feedbacks see from pilot by hand on Airbus. See? Control sticks like toy.

Also no "MUST DO" bulletins from Airbus urgent replace. AF one year later starts replace but too late everyone dies. Next day pilots say "MUST DO!" All AF pitots changed. This happen after incidents but plane safety land! Also many years after Aeroperu. Why Airbus no give "MUST DO"?

AF replace all pitots one plane each time!!! Stupid!! Not replace one pitot each plane so balance!!! Why? So some plane 3 pitot good other plane all pitot bad. Not Safety!!!

Aero peru 757 was static point not pitot!!! Also no need to crash, just confusion readout Altitude! Can fix by other plane watch and reports! No Terminator computer drive plane into sea, see?

Birgen pilot not listen to stick feedbacks!!! 15 years priors AF447!!! So Boeing safer in 15 years early!!! See?

What you think?

I think that the idea of asking others' opinion is pointless since you already have your mind made up and are producing a vigorous (but flawed) argument for one side.

To be able to fly passengers, ALL aircraft designs must pass many rigorous government specifications and tests. Even with such requirements, flaws do pass through. For example, the 737 rudder issue that came up a number of years ago or the icing problem with the ATR72. Some issues require work on the airplane and some require a change in the acceptable operating parameters. We, the passengers, just end up safer in the long run.

Indeed. The original poster doesn't appear to be looking for honest input, but rather is looking for validation of his existing opinion.

Oh, and by the way, Simples!

Don't think he needs any validation, just wants to convert the rest of us.

Anyway this is all sooo 1990s.

What I think is that you should use Google Translate to produce some intelligible English.

Co si myslím, že byste měli používat Google Translate vyrobit nějaký srozumitelné angličtiny.

Friends much dissapointed. I want debate to see bestist! Safety bestist! Not for personal attacks, or deflect important debates, or take sides!

This real serious debate topics! Many people who fly only two arms, two legs, one head, one life - much important for safety!

So what you afraid?
