Any limits on layers when flying?

Going from LAX to Chicago in the morning and I'm feeling a cold coming on. I know it's not the most P.C. thing in the world, but is it ok to wear a hoody and sleveless jacket under my coat on the plane?

In my opinion, more people should wear more clothes. Wear as many layers as you like.

The bigger, and unasked, question is should you be exposing everyone to your germs or should you not fly?

Layer up! You be warmer and sleep better on the flight.

I think this is a personal preference. I have difficulty sleeping when it's too hot, and I prefer it cooler.

No, there are no limits. You will have to remove all the outer layers at security for the TSA, of course.

There is a great video on Youtube about a Ryan air flight where 4 woman are putting on layers of cloths with cheering from the crowd to avoid a fee on the airline. When checked and overhead are charged for look for some to wear layers and then take them off and store without a bag.
