Pre-emptive cancellations
 

there is a thread by this name. i cannot make head nor tail out of it, and somebody really likes to type.

i have ticket DCA-DFW-DCA for 1/26/2011 on US. presuming the big snowstorm arrives as currently predicted, when and how and under what conditions do i/can i cancel.(and get my money back). i once sat at dfw when the GA stated the plane would arrive in 2hrs. at 10am,12pm, 2pm til it finally showed up at 8pm(to keep us from taking an AA flight).

i have 3 times been sent from VCE to FRA or MUC with no seat to IAD because "the computer is not working". all 3 planes never left IAD the night before.
