Airport Shuttle comparisons?
Any opinions on airport shuttle services in different cities? I have conferences in New Orleans, LA; Denver, CO; Pasadena, CA; Boston, MA this year, and don't plan on driving around to make a rental car worth it.
I was looking at some airport shuttle services online but the websites are much more, uh, skeezy, and not user-friendly, not to mention some companies requiring you to call on the phone for any changes to the reservation. The last time I used a shuttle service was when I was in college. Would like any opinions on services, etc. If there is a forum thread about this, I didn't find it, and would appreciate a rethreading if that's appropriate. -T |
SuperShuttle might be the best option, at least in Denver. Additional bonus you get a whole 50 UA points if you book online. :D

I’ve taken Supershuttle and Primetime from LAX to Pasadena numerous times, no complaints with either.

Keep in mind that, for the Pasadena conference, you also have the option of using Burbank/Bob Hope Airport, instead of LAX.

I've used PrimeTime from LAX to Anaheim last year - and have booked them again LAX to Downtown and back this time round if that is any recommendation.
I thought the service was pretty good and i had the minibus to myself on the way to Anaheim at the fraction of the price of a taxi. |
My former company used the Roadrunner Shuttle to get people from LAX to Ventura County. It might work for you:

I've had a bad experience with supershuttle (they gave my reserved shuttle to someone else, made me wait 45 min before saying they don't know when the next shuttle will be available - and were rude throughout the whole thing... I ended up using a cab). Never using them again.
