Affordable options for comfy flight STR-PVG?
 

I'm looking to book flights from STR (Stuttgart/Germany) or FRA to PVG (Shanghai) for my parents in March. Since they don't like to travel that much, I'm trying to find something more comfortable for them, either cheap business class tickets or special economy class tickets with more legroom. Do you guys have any recommendations? Flights originating from STR could go via FRA, ZRH, AMS, … I have no preference there, really, as long as the flights are affordable and comfortable.

ua has e+ seats & ba has wt+ seats [but not w/i europe iirc]....do you have a max spend in mind?....good luck...

edit to add....i priced the trip using 2 weeks, tue-tue....& klm was about half of the other fares....ba didn't show up & ua is most likely a non starter....why don't you look at a general booking site [i used travelocity]....what are you looking to book that is your base?

Currently, I'm looking at economy flights with CA, AY, LH, KLM. FinnAir looks quite good as flying via Helsinki will reduce long-haul flight time. However, I've not been able to find a travel website that offers to choose "economy+" or "comfortable" seats as offered by some airlines. Any recommendations?

take a look at the ba site & see if the wt+ on the long haul is affordable....

edit to add...a fewdates in mar had str-lhr-pvg return @ euro 700 ea on ba....
