New ante notwithstanding you will still be fine barring a mutinous car. You will have about 80 hours to get from PHL to SFO. Google says it's 2523 miles. We covered 500 more miles in about half the time. Just don't dip through Arizona on the way. Look what happened to the Top Gear team when they made a point of tweaking Americans in redneck country. They were nearly killed IIRC.

I think that was Alabama, not Arizona. Thankfully we made it. In total we covered 3650 miles in 76 hours including two overnight stops, one in Austin, one in Palm Springs.

The back seat wasn't that uncomfortable for me as I'm only 5'8 but my 6' plus friend wasn't quite so comfy.
