Help with Couples Getaway in January
 

Wife and I are planning our first getaway in 1 1/2 yrs. This will be the first time my wife is away from our daughter so I'd like it to be special and relaxing. Here's the parameters I'm working with:

- 4 to 5 nights
- leaving from SFO
- we're 30-somethings
- My wife doesn't enjoy flying so would like to keep the flights to 5 hours or under which means US, Hawaii, Mexico's Pacific Coast
- looking for lots of lounging (pool, beach), maybe a little bit of outdoors stuff (hiking and the like), and good eating drinking/drinking, but not partying. We don't golf.
- Would love to use Hyatt or SPG points for the accommodations.

The obvious places are Hawaii (leaning towards Kauaii), Cabo, or PSP. Any other specific locations, hotels, resorts come to mind?
