How many?

More than 12, probably less than 22.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A400 Safari/6531.22.7)

What about light rail subways and pre-metros? Or am I being picky? Anyway:

Glasgow Subway ("The Clockwork Orange")
Tyne & Wear Metro*

Barcelona Metro
Bilbao Metro
Lisbon Metro
Brussels Metro/Premetro
Rotterdam Metro
Amsterdam Metro/Sneltram
Cologne U-Bahn
Frankfurt U-Bahn
Berlin U-Bahn
Warsaw Metro
Oslo T-Banen
Stockholm T-Bana
Helsinki Metro
Budapest Metro
Bucharest Metro
Prague Metro
Vienna (it means nothing to me) U-Bahn
Lausanne Metro
Milan Metropolitana
Rome Metro
New York Subway
Boston T
Montreal Metro
Toronto Subway
Chicago El
Atlanta MARTA
Baltimore Metro Subway
Los Angeles Metro
San Francisco BART/Muni
Mexico City Metro
Tokyo Metro

Seoul Subway
Manila LRT/MRT*
Hong Kong MTR
Shanghai Metro
Bangkok MRTA/BTS
Kuala Lumpur PUTRA/STAR*
Tashkent Metro

St Petersburg Metro
Istanbul Tunel*

*could have some debate as to whether they qualify. Also, Antwerp Premetro and the Zurich "metro", really a mountain railway with an underground section, although some of Oslo is like that too.

I try to get the cards for each transportation network, even though sometimes it doesn't make sense for the 2-3 trips I need. In parenthesis if I have the card:

Atlanta (Breeze)
Grenoble (Atout Tag)
Hong Kong
London (Oyster)
Lyon
Madrid
New York (MetroCard)
Paris (Navigo)
San Francisco
Zurich
