ATL Minute Suites
Has anyone seen/used the new "Minute Suites" at ATL (near B15)? It's $30 per hour for a 7x8-foot room. I can get a large 12x20-foot room, with full bathroom/shower and a normal sized bed at Changi for 6 hours for $45US. The ATL folks must be smoking something.
They also only have FIVE rooms??!?! W_T_F? Website: http://minutesuites.com/index.html |
How much do you pay for lunch at a food court in singapore vs a food court in a mall in the US? The price difference is proably pretty similar to your "hotel room" example.
Sometimes things just really are much more expensive in certain areas of the world. |
Are these minute suites (you cank book for a few minutes) or minute suites (they're really small)??
Anyway, it seems like a similar concept to the Yotels at LHR/LGW/AMS. The one at LHR is about $80 for 4 hours (the minimum time you can book one). They seem reasonable value and I probably would book one if I had 5 or 6 hours at an airport - anything more and I'd get a hotel, anything less and I'd sit in the lounge. |
