Call your bank, see who they are partnered with, then you do not get charged fees when using the correct ATM's. Saved me a several hundred easily while I was in Australia.

All ATM's in the USA have an alphanumeric keyboard, but this is not necessarily the case abroad. I have discovered the hard way that an all numeric PIN is the way to go.

Citibank ATMs will issue $50 bills if you withdraw $300 or more, I believe.

I carry a camera bag on most flights with no problem. If, however, I also carry some other kind of bag over my shoulder, I usually get caught.
