Just Say NO to CO

DLcznz:

Welcome to FT. ^

I'm a decaf drinker only.
(No caffiene at all...plenty of other vices to "take up the slack".)

Definately NOT Continental.
They no longer brew Decaf on their flights.
Individual/instant and it sucks.

Instant decaf coffee

I also drink only decaf coffee, that's a pity they don't brew it. Instant decaf - at least something. Somebody told me that they are taking their instant decaf onboard.
Don't you know which brand of instant coffee they used on the flight? ;)

Not a clue...only that the water isn't quite hot enough to disolve it.

Surely you could bring your own decaf coffee on board.
They'd gladly give you "hot" water...

Safe Travels,

Agree, this is the best idea.

I've always had good coffee on Alaska Airlines/Horizon. For the last ten years and 70+ flights I've been on with them they've always had Seattle's Best Coffee.

Same situation on AA.

When they switched, I asked the FA to make me a cup, so that I could try it. One sip and I had to fight the urge to spit out the vile liquid. When the FA returned, I handed her the still-full cup, and she told me that most people who tried it did what I just did - hand back the full cup.

US uses coffee bags for decaf. Nasty.
