What's your go-to meal to bring on board?
Good day,
I read though all the threads about how crappy UA food is these days - especially in domestic business. Personally, I kind of like to mystery egg dishes. However, the worst is to get on board feeling hungry after a long day only to be served a piddly cheese plate.
With a bunch of 1Ks, etc. commenting on how they bring their own food, it got me curious:
If you travel a lot a and routinely bring your own food on board, what's your go-to meal?

Another vote for Subway!^.....that is probably the only good thing about IAD.
I am happy with a simple multi-grain bagel and bananas.
I don't like to see people bringing McD/BK/Wendy or fries on board. They don't smell that good on the plane.....perhaps it is just the air circulation.

On the way to OGG, stop at the Ba-Le in the Maui Marketplace on Dairy Road. Excellent French/Vietnamese sandwiches.
The Bento at the food court in SFO is also reasonable IMHO.

I think that is likely the one I use if it is from the international terminal - Eribisu or something like that?

Subway is good cause it's decent quality and good price. but I like to bring a chicken ceasar wrap from this deli down the block and a banana. The oddest thing I've seen brought on was tripe. I did see a lady go to town on a whole wrack of ribs once. Now that was a great smell on an airplane. People were offering her money for them and she just kept wagging her finger and saying, "nuh uh".
