Checked luggage
 

Hi,

My travel agent is yet to assist me in this matter so I was hoping to have this answered on here to save me calling a foreign country.

I am Leaving Melbourne Airport flying Air China to Beijing and then to Vancouver, where I will change airlines to Air Canada and go to Edmonton which will be a domestic flight.

My question is how much luggage am i permitted? I am living with my boyfriend for a year there and so I need to be able to take as much as possible.

I looked on the website of air china and it says in one part that I can only have 20kg on an economy ticket, then underneath that it says 2X 23kg, and if this is the case what would happen when I arrive in Canada and fly domestic.
