This is true. The exact same type of USA Today theft happened to me a couple of weeks ago (also at BWI, but in the AA concourse).

When I went to Bishkek for work I fell asleep in F and my seat mate tried to take my Oakleys OFF MY HEAD. I woke up and asked him what the h@ll he was doing? He just smiled and said something in Russian. This was the beginning of the worst experience in my life living in that sh*thole known as Central Asia.

People have always decried falling standards of public behaviour. Even in the eras that look back to fondly now.
