Personalized suitcase delivery

We’re launching a startup project with friends: we plan to deliver a personalized suitcase directly to our clients’ vacation destination. This helps them avoid checked baggage fees and the hassle of travel logistics, while giving them the chance to try out new clothes. Customers create their suitcase online, we deliver it, pick it up at the end of their trip, clean everything, and start again.

Do you see any aspects that would encourage you to use this service, or conversely, that might discourage you?

Welcome to Flyertalk. To be sure I understand correctly, this would be a clothing rental service. I would select items from your inventory, you would deliver them in a suitcase to my destination, I would wear them, put them worn and not laundered back into your suitcase, which you would pickup?

I don't see how you can do all of that and still charge less than an airlines baggage fees.

I think it might have a very limited interest. Nobody would like to get this risk unless their luggage is delayed and lost. So the service needs to be quite fast to worth it.
