GPS Based Inflight Map App - with offline maps

I'm going to be flying the United Island Hopper. I always enjoy watching the inflight map on my iPad using Flight Radar24 or the United App, but that won't be an option.

Is there an app with downloadable offline maps that will trace my route, using GPS to track my location, just like an inflight map does? It would show my route from the begining point to my current location. I know Google Maps and Apple Maps have Offline Maps, but neither will trace our route as far as I know.
Note: I have a reliable GPS receiver to bluetooth to my iPad, so GPS won't be an issue.

I have a mapping app called "Pocket Earth PRO" that has downloadable maps and does route tracking. It is pretty accurate all over the world, but I never have used the tracking function, so you'd need to do some research and experimentation with it. It does have a 4.7 rating on the App Store, and you can download by country, state, or city easily and quickly. Maps in my area even show building outlines with addresses. The feature I use the most is, footpaths and trails are also shown and are pretty useful while being a tourist around landmarks.

I personally use Apple Maps for most navigation for ease of setup. It also has map downloads and GPS navigation, but I never use any tracking features on maps, so I'm not sure it that is an available feature.

Strava could work, just want to make sure have the map preloaded. I use it to track runs while heliskiing but don't look live.
I'm not sure if this feature requires a paid sub.

Thanks guys. I'll check these out over the next few days. I also, in the meantime, found that GPS Tracks works well. The offline maps are paid, but a test run of driving to work with data and wifi off yielded exactly the results I was looking for.

I'll be sure to check the two that you recommended out as well.
