flightsmap.org - Is there a direct flight from here to..?
My foreign friends and colleagues quite often ask for my advice about flights and trips. Is there a direct flight from here to..? Or do you know where this low-cost airline flies? What is luggage allowance with this or that airline?
At that moment two years ago I got an idea that could make the life of inexperienced travelers easier.
So please have a look at my travel tool https://flightsmap.org
You can see all direct flights from any airport on the map. For example, all nonstop flights from London Heathrow Airport https://flightsmap.org/map#LHR
Every route includes the following information:
- airlines on the route
- flight schedule during the week and ticket price
- baggage allowance
- aircraft model with the tail number
- flight number
For more advanced search you may use filters:
- based on Airline, Alliance, Low-costs flights
- Search by flight number
- Search based on the flight number
Airport Information. For example, London Heathrow Airport https://flightsmap.org/airport/LHR
It includes:
Arrivals, Departures, En route, Scheduled flights, General information about Airport.
Information about the flight. For example https://flightsmap.org/flight/OS620
It includes:
Departure information: Airport Departure, Arrival time, Aircraft Type, Seats Business/Eco, Tail Number, Status of the flight.
We have NO Ads and not going to have them in the future.
Information about the routes is updated monthly.
All kinds of feedback and ideas are welcome especially about bugs. I hope you will enjoy it!

Bug?
It's an interesting approach, but I have hard time making it work. The results don't come up as soon as destination and/or airline is selected.
Tip: It might be a good idea to accept IATA code in the airline field.
Been like this over 2 minutes.. no results

Yes, we did a stress test of our server and now we faced technical problems
Today until 7 PM London time we will fix it.Tip about IATA codes are noted.

I'd prefer
1. homepage to the map screen directly
2. Search to be faster, especially for only "nonstop"....
3. in future, maybe add 1-stop options

2) We are working to improve speed. More users we will have, the faster search will be.
3) Special Offers (Red color) - you may see flight offers with discounts and error fares for flight tickets. Yellow is color for the airport with 0 - 30 direct flights.
